I loved this particular headshot session because… this is actually my hubby! It’s been a while since he’s updated his professional headshots and since I recently setup a new studio space in our home, it was easy! We picked out a few outfits, and kept things simple. Truth be told my hubby hates being in front of the camera. But luckily he took a deep breath and trusted that the photos would be amazing. And he was totally right.

I’m still pinching myself that I am doing studio photography now. I’ve been a photographer for 14.5 years and I’ve always said “I’m a natural light photographer”–which means no flash, no big lights, just whatever natural light I had available! To be honest, venturing into this type of photography was scary. I was intimidated by it. But thankfully, my friend Sarah Wood is an incredible photographer and she helped me through the process. I did my very first studio session a few weeks ago (check it out HERE) and was STUNNED at how it turned out!

So as it turns out… I LOVE studio photography! 😍
